Welcome,
The product we are introducing is a Security Door for Pilots. The sliding acrylic door for commercial airlines designed to close off the front row of the passenger seats to flight attendants area. This would enable a pilot to exit the cockpit and use the restroom during the flights without posing a possible security threat.

- Reduces the risk of a terrorist or mentally unstable person charging the cockpit when a pilot exits.
- Increases safety.
- Provide added peace of mind for airline crew members.
- Easy to employ, strong and reliable design.
- Ideal for airlines and manufactures of aircraft.
Features
- The invention could be comprised primarily of solid framework, thick sliding acrylic door, electric drive door, wiring, and a control switch.
- The vertical assembly would have a clear acrylic door that is capable of sliding back and forth and also locking.
- The reversible electric motor would be used to effortlessly adjust the positioning of the impact-resistant door.
- When the pilot needs to use the restroom, a button would be pressed inside the cockpit to energize this feature.
- The door would self-adjust to close off the front row of seats to the restroom, providing the pilot with safe and secure means using the facilities while the flight is underway.
- The door would keep anyone from breaching the cockpit, bothering/attacking the pilot, or entering the flight attendants area.
- Upon returning to the cockpit, the pilot would simply press button again to open door.
- Features a manual inside release handle in case of an electrical malfunction.

FAA Sponsored Security Door

Shortly after 9/11, Congress and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) mandated the installation of hardened flight deck doors on most commercial airline aircraft as part of a series of new security measures. While these hardened flight deck doors significantly enhance security, they do not fully prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing the flight deck.
At FASS, we believe our security door offers a higher level of protection than the current hardened flight deck doors. Our design features a sleek, transparent appearance when closed and is completely concealed when open. It provides ultimate protection against dangerous liquids, powders, and small objects.
We are committed to implementing our security doors, which represent an essential advancement in airline security. However, we have not yet reached this goal, which is why we are seeking your support. We invite you to submit your Initiative Form to help us move forward.
